Welcome to When-in-Rome's Partners in Promoting Rome NY
The When-in-Rome© Tourism CD project will promote Rome as a tourism destination, and as the perfect hub-and-spoke stop "at the center of it all" in New York State. Working as partners, we will be able to package Rome tourism information with motorcoach operators in mind, targeting the 2005 season.
Facilities with experience in handling tour groups are invited to participate in this pilot project developed in response to motorcoach operators' requests at travel shows and in National Tour Association listings. The When-in-Rome© Tourism CD will be sent to approximately 200 operators who bring adult, senior, family, and student tour groups to New York State especially for heritage/history/museum tours and dinner theater. In addition, we will be mailing to select teacher centers in New York State.
We intend to expand this project to a community-wide When-in-Rome© CD as a valuable information and recruiting tool that will represent multi-faceted aspects of life in Rome. Your information will be included on all future productions through June 2005.
